It's summer and Dora has gone surfing. The internet. In search of all things bird related, with which she seems to have a current preoccupation - what would Freud have to say about that? Anyway, her search led her to Bird Textiles, an Australian design team producing a superb range of women's clothing from their own fabric. Dora is a jacket girl and she LOVES this one. She has a birthday approaching, what do you think?

Gone Surfing ... Bird Textiles

I have been away too long and you have been busy posting on your blog. A New Years Resolutions perhaps? Just thought I would share that I too have become obsessed with bird fabric and bought up big. Now everywhere I see are birds... hope you are having a happy ny, I will try and update mi bloggo a bit more when my feet finally touch the ground.

I timed last weekend's tripping around Sydney so badly. I was down for the Festival First Night (as in Sydney Festival) and planned to visit a few choice stores in Surry Hills. Bird Textiles was one of them, but of course, not open until midday Sunday, by which time I needed to be tripping back home on the train. Boo hoo.

You should check out mail art google 'today i saw a bird and it looked like this' a chick is getting people all over to mail her art with a bird theme ... it's tres cool :)
